Preamble

Good evening and welcome to the Procom Net, short for Provincial Communications Network.

The Procom Net meets every Thursday evening at 8:00 pm (20:00 hrs) using the Escarpment Repeater Association Network which is also linked to the SORT system in south-west Ontario . We incorporate IRLP via the Crossroads Reflector, channel 9206.

The Procom Net is an emergency preparedness network that operates under the direction of the Emergency Management Ontario.

In the event of a declared emergency the Procom Net would provide auxilliary communications for Provincial and Municipal Emergency Operations Centres as well as local ARES Groups, providing coverage of all of Ontario using the tactical IRLP channel of 9207.

All stations are welcome and encouraged to join us on the net, please wait for NCS to call for the repeater your listening on.

First & third Thursday of the month

Second and Forth Thursday of the month
Net Control is VE3_____, my Name is _______ and am located in _________. This evening the Procom net is being conducted from the City of Toronto Emergency Operations Centre (VA3EOT)

Hearing no other checkin's I would like to thank my other CO-Net Control Stations V__3___,
V__3___ and V__3___ for dedicating their time assisting with this evenings Net.

I would also like to thank The Escarpment Repeater Association and The Southern Ontario Repeater Team (SORT GROUP)  for the use of their excellent repeater equipment. Thanks are also extended to the operators of the Crossroads IRLP reflector for use of their node which provides us with coverage for all of Ontario, adjoining Provinces and States.
